2:30
A dialogue between movement and materiality
This research explores a dialogue between movement and materiality to reflect on structures of gender in women’s gymnastics. It is based on a collaborative residency between Klaudia Wittmann and sculptor & interdisciplinary artist Lara Ritosa-Roberts. The research experiments with movement languages that emerge directly from an engagement with materials as co-creators.
This research is supported by KWAM Collective, Morley College Chelsea Centre for Creative Industries, the Centre for Dance Research (Coventry University) and Midlands4Cities Doctoral Training Partnership.
2:30 has been performed in venues across the UK including Rose Lipman Building, Riverside Studios, The Adelaide Salon and Somers Gallery.
